NIHR holds a meeting with a number of representatives from Civil Societies
The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) held a consultative meeting with representatives from various civil society institutions at its headquarters in the Seef District. The meeting was chaired by Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of the NIHR, and attended by members of the Council of Commissioners.
During the meeting, discussions centered on enhancing cooperation between the NIHR and civil society organizations through the formation of a human rights working group and regular meetings to address challenges, devise appropriate solutions, and share ideas.
Participants in the meeting included Mr. Fareed Ghazi, President of the Principles for Human Rights Association; Mr. Ahmed Kadhim Hajiri, Chairman of the Bahrain Human Rights Society; Professor Salah Mansoor Al Shahab, Chairman of the Bahrain Transparency Association; Mr. Mohammad Al Sihli, Acting Vice President of the Bahrain Human Rights Watch Society; and Mr. Ammar Al Turanji, Vice President of the Manama Center for Human Rights.
